The initial consultation is the start of your journey to be being pain free, active and healthy.

A full subjective history is carried out first. We will provide you with a  treatment and rehabilitation pathway, that gives you the answers and results that you deserve.

The hands-on treatment is only part of your journey to recovery. This is where rehabilitation comes in, to give you a long-term sustainable solution.

We never just treat the symptoms alone, always the root cause!

As soon as you are able, it is important to start exercising to promote repair and function.

Appropriate therapeutic exercise allows you to achieve increased mobility, stability and strength. As well as enhance co-ordination, balance and cardiovascular fitness in order to speed up the recovery process and prevent recurrence of injury.

FAQ's

FAQ's

What if I don’t play sports or go to the gym, can you still help?

We get asked this all the time, and that is perfectly understandable.

So many people see Sport Injury Clinics as a place just for the sporty and active population and that simply is not the case when it comes to Peak Performance Therapy!

Your therapist has the knowledge and expertise to help anyone with pain or injury, regardless of their level of activity or fitness. We are specially trained in musculoskeletal healthcare.

Do I need to be a member of Everyone Active?

Absolutely not. All members of the public are welcome.

Where at Everyone Active- Eversley is the clinic located?

Peak Performance Therapy is located to the right of the main entrance to the building, next to the fields.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

It’s simple, just bring yourself…

Although if applicable,  it would be useful to bring any details from any previous scans or imaging, such as X-Ray or MRI reports, as well as information regarding any medication you may be taking.

What do I need to wear?

Please wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing that will allow us to facilitate the appointment with ease.

We may from time to time need you to remove clothing to accommodate certain treatments, so please wear suitable underwear.

If attending a rehabilitation, bespoke training or strength and conditioning appointment, please wear suitable sports/gym clothing.

Where can I Park?

You are free to park anywhere within the Everyone Active Car Park, completely free of charge.

Where should I wait for my appointment?

Please refrain from waiting outside the clinic in the British weather!

There is a seating area adjacent to the main reception. Your therapist will greet you there, or our lovely receptionist team will instruct you to make your way to the clinic room.

Can I train before or after treatment?

We advise that if you are intending to train, please do so before your treatment. You may experience some lethargy following treatment, which is due to the release of toxins from your tissues, which may reduce your capacity to train safely and effectively.  Always rehydrate after a treatment to assist with this.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that from time to time you may not be able to make an appointment.

We simply ask that, if you cannot attend your appointment, please allow at least 24 hours notice if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment.

We charge 50% of the appointment fee for cancellations less than 24 hours notice.

DNA’s are charged at the full rate or the service.

How many treatments will I need?

This is dependent on a number of things, such as the severity of your injury, how long your symptoms have been present, how well your body responds to the treatment, and how well you adhere to your rehabilitation. We will give you everything we’ve got, but we require your co-operation.
